Message An engine is basically a big air pump. I think of boost as a multiplier of air flow. In other words, if you are boosting 1 bar at sea level, in theory your engine will pump about twice as much air as the unboosted engine, (assuming nothing breaks and "perfect" conversion efficiency so it probably isn't really double). So the basic question is how much air can the NA block pump before it breaks. My thesis is pretty simple: Given how far I have seen guys push the TT block with stock internals, I think is still have some room to run the NA engine harder (as long as I am careful on managing the temperature - so bigger rad, better intercoolers and lots of fuel are a must. I am trying to avoid "cheating" by using water injection, but that may be in the future mods list)
